Romans 8:18 "I consider our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us"
An environment of hippies you might say? Actually no... where else could you find something this high quality?
Farmer's market is actually one of my favorite places to shop. If you've never shopped at a farmer's market before or even go picking at a local farm then here are some reasons on why you should.
1. Enjoy clean seasonal foods
Farmer's market offers specific in season only products. Unlike the grocery store, you'll be able to choose the freshest newly picked foods that weren't specially packaged and then shipped halfway across the country.
2. Indulge in nutritious foods
You'll be guaranteed to know that these farmers work hard not to add any preservatives giving you assurance the products are as nutritious as possible.
3. Giving back
When you buy local foods, you're proceeds benefits the farmers and providers. A great way to give back to your community
4. Discover new foods!
Did you know there are 2,500 kinds of apples grown in the United States alone? Farmer's market gives you the opportunity to try out new foods. Vendors will often let you try a sample to taste before buying!
5. Save money
Farmers and vendors don't have to transport their items, creating a cheaper price for your fruits and veggies.
6. Amazing customer service
Some vendors will share tips and recipes with you. A lot will try to bond with you. Where else can you find amazing customer service?
7. A social gathering
You can create a trip to the farmers market with your friends and family. I can guarantee they'll love it. Good food, good company
8. Baked goods and prepared foods
Fresh croissant, pies, and many more baked goodies are available to purchase. A great way to stop by if you're in a hurry to a potluck.
If you would like to visit one before the season ends, here's a website where you can find the nearest one to you.
