Romans 8:18 "I consider our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us"
I love Costco. A great place to get bulk stuff at a good reasonable price. But from my past experience, it's hard to leave Costco without spending over $100. I always end up buying something I didn't know I needed.
What are some things that are actually worth buying at Costco?
Read on to find out.
Unless you're a vegetarian, Costco meat is a must. Not only are the meats pretty reasonable price but the sizes of these chicken are just huge! Perfect for leftovers and meal prep.
The steaks are consistently amazing. Each one I get is always flavorful, big and the price per pound is so much better than a supermarket.
If you know which fruits you eat every day. Why not get them in bulk and save the grocery time? Cantaloupes looked pretty good this week..
I also buy frozen fruits since they last longer and are great for making smoothies.
I find myself using eggs every day. Whether it's baking, cooking or just simply wanting an egg on toast. I decided to just buy a ton of eggs so I don't have to freak out on running out of eggs in the middle of baking a cake. Eggs are just a staple in a fridge.
Rice is a great way to provide energy and it goes well with every meal. I buy my rice at Costco because it's generally cheaper than my local grocery store.
Snacks really depend on you. I tend to eat beef jerky and these ones are individually packaged. Perfect for on the go.
Costco is the perfect place to get your household items. Since household items generally don't expire, Costco makes it easy to provide you with items you don't really wanna buy every week. I ALWAYS buy paper towels from here because I go through these like crazy.
One time purchases
I try my best not to buy any one time purchases from Costco because generally, I can find them online for cheaper. But let me tell you about this blanket....
its called a Sherpa blanket. I LOVE THIS. So warm and cozy. Not to mention they have these in king sizes! It's hard to find blankets that cover your entire bed!
ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU USE DAILY
By knowing what you use daily, you can eliminate extra expenses and waste. I usually spend about $95 and won't have to spend again until after about a month. (this is for a 2 people groceries by the way)
